Happy Birthday, America!

I can’t believe that 2025 is already half over. Yes, it is July, and we are experiencing a very hot summer. Before we know it, school will be starting again, and the college students will be returning to campus. This is both exciting and depressing to realize that the start of school will mark the end of summer and all the fun that comes with that time of year.

In June, we collected for the One Great Hour of Sharing offering, and we achieved not only our goal of $500 but also our challenge goal of $700. We collected $745, and we want to say, “Nice job,” to all who contributed to this goal.

Franklin College is still quiet, but that will soon change as the staff prepares everything for the return of students. As we continue to worship on campus in the Richardson Chapel each Sunday, we will start to see changes around the campus that signal the return of students. Please join us at 10 am, in person or on Zoom, each Sunday. If you need the Zoom link, just email the church office, franklinfbcoffice@gmail.com, with your information, and you will be added to the invite list.

We continue to ask for your prayers, as our church continues its transition journey.

Our Bible Study continues to be on hiatus, as we are continuing to look at better ways to minister each week to our congregation.

As we transition into the season of Summer and look forward to Fall, we continue to look ahead to what God has in store for all of us, here in Franklin, Johnson County, and the world as we minister in our journey with Christ. Please, continue to pray for us, as we pray for you, to support and raise up each other to strengthen us in this journey.
