Happy February. Happy Valentine’s Day. January sure did pass by quickly, but it was also very cold. 2025 is off and running, and we at First Baptist Church Franklin are now looking forward to what this year has in store for us. We just finished celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in December, and we now look forward to Easter and our Risen Lord in March. This month, we are preparing the way for the resurrection and all that goes with it.

We continue our journey in the transition process and in our effort to look for a new pastor. We are enjoying our time with Rev. Bartley, who is helping us in the process and we are taking the steps necessary to be ready to make the call when the right candidate is found.

Our Bible Study will continue to be on hiatus and we are considering all avenues available to us to have this time together each week.

We are still worshiping in person at Richardson Chapel, on the campus of Franklin College, and on ZOOM, each Sunday at 10 a.m.  If you can’t join us and want to be with us by ZOOM, please email Mark Friend, our church Moderator, at the church’s email address, and the invitation link will be sent to you. We invite you to join us every Sunday as we praise God and worship together.

As we look to the future we understand the process needed in our search for a new pastor. We continue to need your support and prayers by attending each Sunday.
