Happy Valentine’s Day! That’s right, February 14th is just around the corner.

Man, January really flew by, so it’s February already. This is a busy month for us at First Baptist Church, Franklin, as we are planning for the Installation Service of our new Senior Pastor, Rev. Tom Bartley. This is the first big event for our congregation since we moved from our building at Home and Jefferson, so we are pulling out all the stops. The service looks to be a very exciting event, and hopefully everyone will be able to attend.

The latter part of January brought some challenges as we were hit hard with very low temperatures that caused us to meet on ZOOM on the last Sunday of the month. And then we got hit with a major snowfall that caused several of our members to remain inside to stay warm and safe.

We continue our partnership with Franklin College and such, continue to worship at Richardson Chapel each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

We continue to stream our service each week on Zoom and would like to encourage you to join us there, especially if you are unable to worship with us in person. If you would like the link to the service, feel free to email us at the church office, franklinfbcoffice@gmail.com, with your information, and you will be added to the invite list.

Please continue to pray for our congregation and our ministry as we move forward with the leadership of Rev. Bartley in the coming weeks, the coming months, and the coming years. We are working hard as a congregation to minister to each other in our congregation and to the community around us in an attempt to strengthen ourselves and each other in our daily walk with God.
