Happy 250th, America. July 4th is your day!

What a great month July is, and what a great celebration this year. It doesn’t seem possible that 2026 is half over and we are only 178 days until Jesus’ birthday. How time flies when you’re having fun. Our current sermon series is dealing with the Beatitudes, as we look at one verse each week. Rev. Bartley is really bringing each phase to life.

The Bartleys have gotten everything moved into their new home here in Franklin, and things are ramping up on the campus as preparations are made for the students to return for the 26- 27 school year. Rev. Bartley has been involved in Freshman orientations the last few weeks, and he attended a Gen Z conference in Green Lake, WI, last week. .

We reached our Challenge Goal for One Great Hour of Sharing, as we collected $765. Our project in July is to collect school supplies for the Fast Track program to help students get ready for school in our local area. There will be a collection box in the foyer each week to place your items.

We continue to worship each week in Richardson Chapel on the campus of Franklin College at 10:00 a.m., and all are welcome to join us. We also stream our service each week on Zoom and would like to encourage you to join us there, especially if you are unable to worship with us in person. We look forward to seeing what challenges God throws our way the rest of this summer and how we can continue to minister to our Franklin community.
