This year keeps flying by, and it is almost half done. The month of  June is upon us, and we start thinking about summer vacations, trips to see friends and loved ones, and church picnics. Our Church in the Park is scheduled for Sunday, June 22, and it will be in the Sunset Shelter in Provence Park. We will meet at 10 and then have a brown bag lunch following the service. June 15 is Father’s Day, so please tell your father how much you care about him.

In the month of June, we will be collecting for the One Great Hour of Sharing offering, and our goal is $500. We also set a challenge goal of $700, and we hope to reach both of them.

Franklin College is very quiet as the students have completed their finals and headed home for some time with family for the summer. We look forward to their return in early August. We will continue to worship on campus in the Richardson Chapel each Sunday, so please join us at 10 am or on Zoom as we continue our journey with Christ in this community.

We ask that you keep Rev. Bartley, our Leadership Board, and our Pastoral Search Committee in your prayers while we are working through this time of transition.

Our Bible Study continues to be on hiatus, as we are continuing to look at better ways to minister each week to our congregation.

If you can’t join us and want to be with us by ZOOM, please email Mark Friend, our church Moderator, at the church’s email address, franklinfbcoffice@gmail.com, and the invitation link will be sent to you. We invite you to join us every Sunday as we praise God and worship together.

We continue to look ahead to continuing our ministry to Franklin, Johnson County, and the world as the summer progresses. As always, we need your support and prayers to strengthen us in this journey.
