In the musical Carousel, there is a song titled “June is Bustin’ Out All Over,” and since today is June 1st, I do believe this is true today. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the grass is green, and the flowers are blooming. What more do we need to confirm God’s love and to be thankful for the beautiful Earth He created for us to live in?

The campus is quiet as the students have completed classes and headed home for summer break. We wish them well and anticipate their return in August.

June is also the month in which we celebrate Father’s Day, so remember to do something nice for your dad on June 21st.

Also in June, we will be collecting for One Great Hour of Sharing, and our goal this year is $500 with a challenge goal of $750. Let’s work hard to reach the challenge goal.

We continue to worship each week in Richardson Chapel on the campus of Franklin College at 10:00 a.m., and all are welcome to join us. We also stream our service each week on Zoom and would like to encourage you to join us there, especially if you are unable to worship with us in person.
